WCRX is the student-run radio station of Columbia College Chicago. The station is dedicated to embodying professional, ethical, and legal standards while promoting a learning and leadership experience for students. WCRX provides broadcasting services to the Columbia College campus and surrounding communities in Cook County.

What can I perform at Sessions@33?
Our format is three original songs and a cover song of your choice
How long does a Sessions@33 taping take?
A regular session takes about two hours; including set-up, soundcheck & recording
What do I need to bring to the taping?
Please bring extra guitar and bass strings, along with an extra set of drumsticks
What do I need to consider before the taping?
· Have music up on a streaming platform, as we like to listen beforehand to our artists before they come in
· No obscenities or derogatory lyrics. Change lyrics beforehand or choose a different song
· We allow only one re-take out of all the songs you record. Please make you are “practiced”
· Lyric sheet may be requested
When will my episode be released?
Our release dates may vary. Please let us know if you have an upcoming album release, as we take that into consideration in our scheduling
Any additional information I may need to know?
· We record straight to Pro Tools
· Please keep in mind that our editors are also students and have courses and other external activities in addition to volunteering
