LACELES

Coming from New Orleans and Los Angeles, the Chicago-based group joins the tradition of female-fronted grunge that arose in the early 90’s. The dual vocal stylings of guitarist Lydia Billie and bassist Marlowe Shachory are supported by the incomparable drumming of Sabrina Borg. Flynn, also known as Ace Eighty, originates from Peoria, IL, where his musical journey began. Experimenting with various genres, he found solace in acoustic instruments and his own voice. Influenced by the likes of Frank Ocean, Bon Iver, and DC The Don, his music blends soulful melodies with introspective lyrics.

Versus Vitality is a new up and coming band from Chicago made up entirely of students from Columbia College Chicago. Their formation was an amusing chain of coincidences, one after another, uniting them. They play fusion inspired post-punk, with elements of jazz, emo, and funk.

SAM WING

Sam Wing is a singer/songwriter whose music combines classical forms with elements of pop, folk, soul. Classically trained on the cello and self-taught on drums, guitar, and piano, he began recording his own music in his bedroom during the pandemic. Sam dreams of making a living through his own music.

Nathan Frederic is an acoustic musician originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He plays indie rock with hints of psychedelia, inspired by folk artists like Nick Drake and Elliott Smith. With a family from Québec, Nathan is also heavily influenced by 70s prog bands like Beau Dommage and Harmonium.

CASPER HILL

Originating in New York, the band began as a side project for singer and guitarist Patrick O’Shea. Patrick is a freshman audio major at Columbia College Chicago who has been playing music for just a few years. The band has already released four albums, including their most recent, Kick.
