KATHRYNN VETTAS & FRIENDS

Kathrynn Vettas is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer from Northwest Indiana.  From learning the piano at five years old, Kathrynn has since expanded her musical expertise to instruments such as vocal performance, drums, guitar, and music recording / engineering.  Though she grew up surrounded by a musical family, she ironically had no exposure to music of generations before her.  Her music style was influenced by any and all artists she discovered on Youtube around the age of eight.  Ranging from Justin Bieber to Tina Turner, the creativity was endless.   

Currently, Kathrynn is now accompanied by friends met at her music store job.  Band members now include Kathrynn Vettas (Lead Vocals, Piano, Lead Guitar), Peyton Cox (Drums), Rachel Diaz (Rhythmic Guitar), and Parker Smith (Bass guitar).  Each and every musician comes from different backgrounds, such as pop, pop rock, r&b, indie, and hardcore punk.  Despite the different backgrounds, the band has unanimously decided that the end goal is not to embody a certain genre or aesthetic of music, but to embody music itself — no matter what style it leads them to.  Check out more from Kathrynn Vettas & Friends on Spotify and Apple Music!
