How It Works
1. Submit Your Song
Clean version (no expletives), ready for broadcast. (.mp3 or .wav)
2. Record a Short Intro
Tell a quick story about your song: inspiration, unique story, or something listeners should notice.
3. Record an Outro
Include song title, your name, and socials/website so fans can find you.
4. Standard Out Cue (SOC)
End with: “You’re listening to Home Grown Sundays on WCRX-FM.”
Example Script
Intro:
“You’re listening to Home Grown Sundays on WCRX-FM. I’m [Your Name]. My track ‘Big Shoulders’ is all about the city I love, and I hope you fall in love with it too.”
Outro:
“I hope you enjoyed my song ‘Big Shoulders.’ Find me at [Social Media/Website]. I’m [Your Name], and you’re listening to Home Grown Sundays on WCRX-FM.”
Tips for Success
• Keep intros/outros short (20–30 seconds)
• Be authentic—let your personality shine
• Think of this as your personal shoutout to Chicago
