Blind Adam and The Federal League

Founded in 2017 in Chicago, Blind Adam and the Federal League has developed into something of an anti-fascist punk rock family band. Founding members (Blind) Adam Gogola and Alex Simotes turned a handful of Adam’s acoustic demos into what would become the band’s self titled debut LP before playing a single show. By 2019 the band had played all over the midwest on regional tours, small festivals, and as support for Ben Nichols (Lucero), Ever Clear, Bowling for Soup, CJ Ramone, Dog Party, and more. 

 

After several lineup changes and a 7” on A-F Records, the band headed to Pittsburgh to record An Act of Desperation with Chris “2” Barker as producer/engineer. The plan was to release An Act of Desperation in early summer 2020 and spend the year on the road, but plans changed with Covid-19. The band quickly shifted gears to support mutual aid and survival programs, hosting a nine-week livestream series raising over $10,000 for community relief efforts. The band spent 2020 and 2021 in the streets in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter uprisings and mutual aid projects around Chicago.

Consisting of guitarist Jake Zachacki, drummer Christian Ramirez, bassist Rylan Hurtado, and lead vocalist and guitarist Aaron Romana, Claim Ursa is a rock/metal, post-hardcore band from Chicago, IL, formed in late 2021. Claim Ursa combines sounds from the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance, Escape the Fate, and many more. In the summer of 2025, Ursa released 2 singles, “25” and “Deck One”. On Valentine's Day of 2026, then dropped their 3rd single, their unapologetically heartbroken, "Unwanted".

Ellie Mickey frequents at local open mics where she can. She has performed with 2x Grammy Winning Columbia College Alumni, Jonathan McReynolds (2025), performed on the Manifest Acoustic Kitchen stage (2024, 2025), and wrote the lyrics for Cicada, a BFA thesis short film by Yupu Luo (2025).

How do you burn the rain? We don't know. What we do know is that when you mix the sounds of grunge, metal, and a little bit of punk, you get Burn The Rain, the three piece live band from the southwestern suburbs of Chicago, formed around records made ala Foo Fighters circa 1995, and Mammoth, influenced by bands such as the aforementioned Foo Fighters, Mammoth, Linkin Park, and Nirvana, (and many more). The consistent members are Joey and Dan, with the best drummers they know, Eli and Michael, on call to provide the thundering beats. No Burn The Rain performance is ever the same, and they have no intention of changing that now.

Raised in the small town of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Lavenoak (Kristina Puzin) started as a local vocalist in multiple ensembles and an actress within small theater companies. She further honed her craft at the Merit School of Music Conservatory and is now pursuing the cinematic arts at Columbia College.  Currently based in Chicago, IL, her adoration for storytelling has led her to write and compose original music, including her debut single, What For, which was accompanied by a visually stunning, self-directed music video. Her first upcoming EP (Blemish) is forthcoming.

Tyriq is a Chicago-based vocalist, musIcian, and actor. TYRIQ's main music genres are Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Funk, and R&B. He currently plays the alto saxophone and the piano. He has performed at various venues and events throughout the city such as Reggies Rock Club, City Winery, and Lollapalooza.
