Mathilde Marsot is a bilingual(French/English) Chicago-based indie-folk songwriter originally from San Francisco, California, and Montréal, Quebec. Having written her first song at five years old, Mathilde has always had a passion for music and is continuously inspired by the world around her. Through hypnotic melodies and clever lyricism, Mathilde turns pain and frustration into beauty, reminding listeners that the bittersweet nature of life enriches our understanding of joy. This past May, Mathilde concluded her studies at Columbia College Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and a minor in music business.
